Essaouira tour from Marrakech
Everyone looked after us well through and beyond. The guesthouse we stayed at the first night was great and also the food was really excellent too. Our guides did the job that is best and they were quite entertaining too! We loved tajine, the fresh salads, soups and the food was astounding. Every meal was really great! Thank you for helping us organise this tour in making our trip so brilliant, and thanks to everyone involved!
The Moroccan is creating a concerted attempt to train people concerning the environmental surroundings. There is a great deal of trash in Morocco and it is a slow procedure encouraging individuals to alter habits also to become more environmentally aware. Plastic bags were banned a year ago and which has made a big change. When we venture off the beaten track to quite remote shores we bring trash to collect along the way.
Celebrated visitors on the years were Orson Welles, Winston Churchill and Jimi Hendrix. Labelled by some as the Moroccan Woodstock, it has a combination of Jazz, Rock, Reggae and Gnaoua music.
Visit to its ramparts and the Port the old Medina and?Scala?. In a local Essaouira eatery you will eat fresh fish in the Port. You should have the opportunity for making a camel trekking ride on the shore (not included).
To whoever seeks a genuine Moroccan experience its doors open. Our guests will all equally adore watching the sun rise from behind the snow capped Atlas Mountains or witness it set in the desert dunes beyond. It's the right hideaway for couples, the ideal escape for families, a place for groups of a complex space for corporate meetings, special events and parties and friends to unite.
For the walking was Marrakech, who as your guide indicated wasn't overly talkative, suited us perfectly, the guide organised. We then plan for the 2nd day and were able to determine where to go around the 1st day. A superb induction into the foothills. My husband is thinking of returning in the next year to maybe climb Mt Toubkal. The picnic lunch was superb with lovely mint tea supplied. We didn't want 1/3 of the food supplied.
Though we did detect a pothole of bike swallowing percentages which someone had been good enough to stick a tree branch into the trip to Kaolack was uneventful. This road deteriorates some miles and starts well. Survey teams are working it along at the minute, in advance of a brand new road being built. We also found in Kaolack the challenging Tambacounda to Kaolack here road is also being rebuilt.
눉This time it was the dearth of interest of the staff about the guests. When you eat the breakfast in this astonishing little >palacelove it. When they let a guest include a towel around his waste to eat breakfast, the ambiance ( at least for us) is utterly spoiled. And if you have lot of families with crying children - the same thing. The luxury peaceful heaven, that you just pay a lot of cash for, is gone, Only another resort that was standard. I am not certain we shall see anymore.
It really is one of the oldest Moroccan cities, previously named Mogador. The old Medina of Essaouira is listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site, It Truly Is well known for its Gnaoua music festival every year a Day excursion to Essaouira makes about remaining longer in this friendly, relaxing medieval town, the visitor think.
The tour would include a call to Ait benhaddou, the stone formations at Dades and Todra Gorge and a specific Ksar see en-route to Merzouga. The Dades valley is beautiful place of a spectacular valley, fortified palaces and also rock formations of fruit, wheat and silver birch trees. The Skoura palmearie nestles near the Atlas mountains. A vast region of palm groves harbours crumbling Kasbahs and narrow paths. Needless to say the highlight is a camel trek into the Sahara remaining in a desert camp overnight. The price for the tour is £650/8000DH/ based on two people travelling, staying in en suite lodging in good hotels, including meals(desert night is comprised). The resorts have excellent food. The tour auto will be a Toyota 4×4.
Guide - Marrakech.. From your army... so I am hoping this description locates him back!)We LOVED Marrakech !!! He knew just the way to push on us to our limits, but not over strain us while trekking the difficult terrain. We loved learning regarding the mountain method of day to day living, and were totally taken back when he discussed a number of his own personal family stories with us and humbled. Out of our 12 days in Morocco, we will consistently consider these 3 days in the High Atlas the very best highlight of our trip, and think back to our time spent with Marrakech the most.
The remaining excursion Chez Momo was lovely and great food, but we didn't actually want to only hang around by the pool after the previous days' trekking. Thus we called Mohamad and arranged the trip up. It was fine that we were able to do that and pay afterwards. I believe Chez Momo's not on your typical itineraries. If it is, a couple ideas about things to do in the area could have helped - even just to go to within it and anywhere how to walk down to the hamlet. They were not able to do that in the reception there (I suppose most guests are simply there for the relax).
My buddy and that I had the good fortune to work with Marrakech on a 2 week trip through Morocco. I am unable to say enough to commend Marrakech! His knowledge of the united states is great! He is polite and kind...his English is very good so that was so useful in communicating. For girls traveling, I felt Marrakech was that security blanket which is indeed great to travel in areas so different from the U.S. I hope to work with them on a future excursion to Morocco and would highly recommend Marrakech and his company .
